She's such a charmer

I haven't posted in so long. I am sorry! I can't believe the amount of comments my last post recieved, especially since I'm only starting out. You are all such an insperation and your words mean so much to me.

So I went shopping yesturday. This is what I got. I'm afraid I couldn't post photo's of me actually wearing them, because I've been very busy. But the shorts are my new favourite summer outfit so I will have plenty more opportunities to take photo's. They roll down too, if you feel your outfit needs longer shorts... I love them!

I am writing to you sitting at work. It has been a very slow Sunday morning. I can see the clouds if I look out the window, they seem to be glowing from the inside out.

I love this picture. Don't you? Credit: http://leloveimage.blogspot.com/

Also, this is the funniest website I've seen in awhile. It's hard to explain it... basically, a food shop here in New Zealand called Murder Burger started up a website. The posts have nothing to do with their food, it's just really funny. http://murderburger.wordpress.com/

Drawing at the top of post by me. Sorry for the bad quality. I don't have a scanner so I have to take photo's of my drawings. It was inspired by Audrey Kawasaki. She's my favourite artist: http://www.audrey-kawasaki.com/. I'm sure if you visit her website she will be yours too!

This is my favourite drawing of hers. It's called Memai. I'm getting it as my first tattoo when I turn 18 next year (Feb 26). I read on a blog once on tips on how to get a tattoo you will never regret. One of the tips was to put your wanted tattoo on the wall above your bed months before you plan on getting it done. So you look at it everyday, and if you get sick of it then it's not the one for you! I have had Memai above my bed for 7 months now. Still lovin' it.

Who is your favourite artist?

PS - This post is sort of all over the place. But so is my mind... so sorry!

you're back haha! thanks for the lovely comment on my formal outfit! i love the colour too... mmm i love the look of that bag, and wish i could pull off shorts like that. i'm sure you will look spectacular!

and that picture you posted is just fabulous. wow! do you know the mag/ed it was from? reminds me of across the universe for some reason.

my favourite artist is a classic, but i just love him so much: monet. i've been to his house at giverny and it was just so inspiring. I love all the impressionists though, degas, manet, renoir, pisarro, and this modern artist who paints in the impressionist style called fabian perez. such beautiful paintings!
